La constante necesidad y búsqueda de un orden. De lo sencillo. Jugar con el tiempo, con el tempo de las cosas. Un tiempo vital donde se ralentiza todo. Llegar a la ausencia, al silencio. Quizás concentrándose en el cuerpo y en el equilibrio se pueda llegar en algún momento a tener el control, a sentir un cierto orden.

 

En EFECTO MARIPOSA se trabaja de forma escrupulosa la duración de las cosas, ¿cuánto movimiento cabe en un segundo?. Nueve metrónomos comparten espacio con ella, y ambos dividen el tiempo tantas veces como pueden para reorganizar una y otra vez gesto y movimiento, buscando siempre la complicidad del que observa.

The constant need to search for order and simplicity. To play with time and the tempo of everything. The vital instant where everything slows down. To reach absence and silence. Perhaps her focus on the body and its balance will allow her, at some point, to have control. To feel a certain order.

 

In EFECTO MARIPOSA we work fussilly on the duration. How much movement could we squeeze in a second? Nine metronomes share space with her body, and together they divide time as much as they can, to reorder again and again gesture and movement, always seeking for the complicity of the observer.
